About the St Tudno

Don't be put off by the frontage - the St Tudno Hotel is without doubt one of the most delightful and appealing sea front hotels in Britain having won a host of awards for excellence. Here you can do something that's difficult to do in Britain: you can stay beside the sea in style.

Ideally located on Llandudno's fine promenade close to the pier, this 18-bedroom Victorian terraced hotel offers a very special experience.

Elegantly and lovingly appointed the hotel has a quiet and sophisticated charm that delights even the most discerning guests. A warm welcome, relaxing service and excellent hospitality are extended to guests throughout their stay.

The hotel has its own indoor heated swimming pool, a passenger lift, car park and garage

Dining

The Terrace Restaurant offers an outstanding dining experience, with beautiful murals of Lake Como extending the full length of the restaurant; diners can expect to enjoy superb food, fine wine and service of the highest order. Andrew Foster with his brigade of seven chefs is in charge of the kitchen. The restaurant currently holds 2 AA rosettes.

They have an extensive award-winning wine list with more than 200 bin numbers prompting the hotel industry media to refer to the list as a Wine Lovers' Paradise.

Seasonal menus can include the like of "Anglesey scallops and slow cooked belly pork, apples and crackling", "Fillet of Welsh beef, oxtail Wellington, Anna potato, baby leaf spinach, parsnip and morels", and "Honey mousse wrapped in brandy snap, pears, balsamic and ice cream".

Accommodation

Picture
Each of the 18 bedrooms are individually designed. Many of the rooms (which vary in size) have either twin or king-size beds and whirlpool baths. Suite accommodation includes: the luxury Alice Suite on the first floor, with separate sitting room, two TVs and CD player; the Rhoda Junior Suite on the second floor with two windows affording spectacular views along the promenade and beach; and the Lorina Room on the first floor, with a large bay window.

Monogrammed robes and Molton Brown toiletries add the extra touch of luxury our guests have come to expect from the St Tudno Hotel. The Villeroy and Boch tea service and homemade biscuits complete the comfortable, pampered feeling.
